Good Evening Europe is an interactive exhibition which is part of the ABBA The Museum in Stockholm, Sweden. The Eurovision Song Contest is the focus of the exhibition. Visitors can watch all of the European contests on more than 30 screens. Karaoke equipment is in place, as are former stage outfits…

The main task was to secure easy control of the technology behind the exhibition. Partly by allowing for zone-by-zone control of screens, sound and lighting. Partly by creating different scenarios – like increasing microphone volume while decreasing the volume in other areas when someone takes the microphone. An important part was also to offer technical advice, and to identify potential problems and solutions.

Att få en enkel styrning av tekniken bakom utställningen var huvuduppdraget. Dels att programmera zonindelad styrning av skärmar, ljud och belysning. Dels att ta fram olika scenarior, som att höja ljudet i karaokemikrofonen när någon tar tag i den, samtidigt som det dämpas i övriga utrymmen. Att bistå med teknisk konsultation – att identifiera potentiella problem och lösningar – var också en viktig roll.
