Project Details
The Swedish Music Hall of Fame was a temporary exhibition in a part of the ABBA The Museum, that aimed at highlighting Sweden’s great pop artists. The space was also to be used for press conferences.
Being able to easily adapt the room according to its usage – by adjusting light, sound and picture – was key. Equally important was to integrate the control of the room with the overall control of the entire museum.
The client wanted to be able to:
- Easily control and adjust sound, light and picture
- Quickly shift betwen exhibition and press conference mode
- Integrate room control with the overall technical control of the museum: one building, one control
- Subsequently adapt settings to new exhibitions
Ease-of-use, flexibility and long-term sustainability were key components of the solution that included:
- Pre-programmed and adjustable scenarios for lighting, microphone sound and TV-screens
- Easy and secure control via touch panels
- The ability to manually adapt and reset settings
- Integration with the museum’s central control system
